from our two-day birding tour in Catalonia, Spain. The main reason
for this trip was to photograph Balearic and Yelkouan Shearwaters,
which is present in winter off Roses.

Ethiopia
on 20-25th November 2004.
Here is a sample of 24 photos taken during a birding tour to the Simen
mountains (Gandor area) in Ethiopia in late November 2004. The main
reason to this (my third) trip to Ethiopia was to photograph vultures,
especially Lammergeiers in different plumages and ages.

Iceland
on 24-31th May 2004.
During our one-week tour on this dramatic and beautiful island we
saw in total 84 species, which include several rarities and seabirds.
I addition also four cetacean species were recorded. Here you find

on 10-15th May 2004.

were species such as Aquatic Warbler (Biebzra), White-backed and Middle

and three species of Chlidonias Terns.

Fuerteventura
(Canaries) on 15-21th December 2003.
Here you find 18 photos from a combined holiday on Fuerteventura.
Highlights was species such as Houbara Bustard, Cream-coloured Courser,
Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Trumpeter Finch and the declining subspecies
of the Egyptian Vulture (only about 130 birds left). |

Seawatching
in Senegal on 13-27th October 2003.
Here you find 20 photos from our seawatching tour to Senegal (e.g.
N'Gor, north of Dakar). The main reason to this trip was to see and
photograph great numbers of seabirds, from both land and pelagics.

Iceland
on 28 April-4th May 2003.

A total of 77 species was seen, which included American Black Duck,
